Drone Hula Hoop Shoot

At the tender age of 41 Jenn decides she has to have a hula hoop. You know, for fitness. And even though Christine had all parts to make one, she commissioned one from local hooper, Michelle Schaeffer. Because BEV loves to support artists and small local businesses. She did a fantastic job the hoop lights up in the sun.

So naturally they have to drone the hooping. Making the most of a sunny March day they took the drone out to practice hooping in a South City Park. Joining them was Sergio the Shooter, Spyro and Yoshi, and of course everyone’s favorite black pitbull, Rex.

Unfortunately Sergio was so involved in taking selfies he missed the opportunity to film all three dogs barreling towards a younger girl walking two dogs while attached one single corkscrew ground stake. The combined force of the three dogs was enough to rip it from the ground. It was fortunate that Chrisine was getting a beer from the car and Jenn’s love for her dog momentarily made her a track star. From angles they raced to the pack, dove in and drug them away kicking and howling.

Jenn hog tied Rex and threw him in the car, determined to make the most of the daylight and went back to hooping.

Not ten minutes passed before the mother of the young girl came stomping over looking for the black pit bull that attacked her dogs.

Jenn approached her calmly with sincere apologies and concern for the well being of her dog and newly or re-newly traumatized daughter. The lady didn’t respond well and was still all in a tizzy.

Jenn took off her sunglasses to show this woman her sparkling blue eyes and stared into her soul while offering a hug she knew she would not accept. Then in a soft southern accent Jenn says “Look. We ran over there as fast as we could. We dropped everything. I grabbed Rex and spanked his ass. Then I threw ‘em in the car.” She points to the Subaru, Rex is staring back at us with a teeth gleaming and long tongue panting. She cracks the smallest instance of a sideways smile as Jenn realizes she’s now standing there alone. “Let’s go look at Rex.” And Jenn’s guides them to the window where Rex is pawing through trying to get a high five. Crisis averted. She’s no longer angry and the adorableness has saved the day.

For obvious reasons we didn’t have much time and it was crazy windy but here are a few moments from the afternoon for your viewing pleasure. Don’t miss the low flying zoom shot at the end of this video!
